Alex Diduch paced the visitors with two goals, while Airdrie netminder Logan Marlow stopped 37 shots. Jason Pohl made 33 saves for Red Deer.

• The Blackfalds Wranglers, with Jared Williams scoring twice, defeated the visiting Coaldale Copperheads 6-3 Sunday.

Also scoring for the Wranglers were Dalen Kolybaba, Jared Guilbault, Brady Thudium and Dylan Wiedmer.

Reagan Hughes made 27 saves for Blackfalds, which held a 31-30 advantage in shots and was assessed seven of 16 minor penalties.

• The Stettler Lightning fell 4-1 to host Airdrie Sunday, their lone goal coming off the stick of Dylan Muhlbach.

The Lightning were also 4-1 losers to the visiting Mountainview Colts Saturday. Lyle Wooden scored the only Stettler marker while Lightning goalie Simon Thieleman made 33 saves as the home team was outshot 37-32.
