CALGARY — Calgary police have charged a 58-year-old Alberta man with sexual assaults on young boys dating back 30 years.

Police say the charges involve three young boys, who were between 11 and 14 years old at the time of the alleged offences between 1981 and 1995.

The accused was a volunteer in a leadership role in Calgary-based Baptist churches during much of that time, and police allege the assaults took place inside a Calgary home.

Russell Louis Rodman, who now lives in High River, faces a total of five charges, including two counts of sexual assault.
