LETHBRIDGE — Charges are pending against a southern Alberta man after a suspicious package was found outside a business.
Lethbridge Regional Police say a package was found by an employee of a business in a strip mall.
Police say the package contained a note that said it was an explosive device.
Businesses were evacuated within a two-block radius and police destroyed the package.
Police says the package was not an explosive device.
A 58-year-old man was taken into custody at the scene.
