GRANDE PRAIRIE — A man is dead after the sport utility vehicle he was driving went out of control and rolled in a recreation area in northwestern Alberta.
RCMP say the accident happened Saturday afternoon as the 33-year-old Grande Prairie resident was driving a Jeep Wrangler in the Dunes Recreation Area.
The SUV rolled once and landed on the driver’s side.
The driver was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt.
His name has not been released.
Three other people in the vehicle were not injured
