OSOYOOS, B.C. — A 55-year-old Spruce Grove, Alta., man has been identified as the motorcyclist killed in a crash in southern B.C.
The incident occurred July 8 when a motorcycle slammed head-on into a van.
Lance McKay died at the scene.
The crash occurred on a winding section of Highway 3 near Osoyoos, about 400 kilometres east of Vancouver.
The oncoming van veered off the road but the occupants suffered only minor injuries.
RCMP say it’s unlikely any charges will be laid.
