Alberta Mounties on lookout for escaped inmate possibly armed and dangerous

Mounties in Alberta are warning about an escaped inmate.They say Dennis Paul Haines, who is 38, was with two other inmates at Wabasso campground with two correctional officers when he escaped sometime between Monday at 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. Tuesday.

GRANDE CACHE, Alta. — Mounties in Alberta are warning about an escaped inmate.

They say Dennis Paul Haines, who is 38, was with two other inmates at Wabasso campground with two correctional officers when he escaped sometime between Monday at 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Haines is believed to have family in the Lake Louise, Canmore and Calgary areas.

He is described as five feet, ten inches tall, weighing 183 pounds, with blue eyes, brown hair that is starting to grey and a fair complexion.

RCMP say he is clean cut, wears glasses with his hair parted in the middle.

Police say he has numerous tattoos, including a knife on the back of his neck; skulls with a spider web on his left upper arm; a soldier in helmet on his left forearm; a dragon on his left inner arm; a dragon with the name Michael Levi Silver written on scroll on his right chest.
