Alberta, Ottawa, to share cost of homes damaged by RCMP during flood

The Alberta and federal governments will share the cost of compensating people whose homes were damaged by RCMP in the flood ravaged community of High River.

HIGH RIVER — The Alberta and federal governments will share the cost of compensating people whose homes were damaged by RCMP in the flood ravaged community of High River.

The town is to pay out approved damage claims and then apply to the provincial government for compensation.
