CALGARY — Two men have been charged after RCMP in southern Alberta seized 68 kilograms of magic mushrooms during a traffic stop.

Police say an officer found the stash with the help of a drug detection dog.

The Mountie had stopped a pickup truck on Highway 1 west of Lake Louise for an equipment violation.

Twenty-seven-year-old Shawn Lutz and thirty-one-year-old Scott Gowing —- both of Calgary — face possession and trafficking charges.
