About 25 interested participants attended an open house at the Red Deer Chapter of the Taoist Tai Chi Society on Saturday. Here Carol Weber, of the society leads a group of beginners and experienced members. Participants on Saturday were able to watch a demonstration by the experienced members of the society, learn of the heath benefits of Tai Chi and experience the first three moves of the 108 move set that makes up a Tai Chi practice. The Taoist Tai Chi society in Red Deer located in the Cronquist Business Park has new beginner classes starting in September.
