The Prirazlomnaya platform is towed from Murmansk to the Prirazlomnoye oilfield in the Pechora Sea, northern Russia, Thursday. The Prirazlomnaya is the world’s first offshore ice-resistant oil producing platform capable of production below - 50 C temperatures. Russia thus is launching the national project for the extraction of oil in the Arctic shelf.
