Alleged Edmonton Hells Angel arrested in drugs, weapons investigation

An alleged member of the Hells Angels is among 10 people facing charges after a lengthy drug and weapons investigation in the Edmonton region.

EDMONTON — An alleged member of the Hells Angels is among 10 people facing charges after a lengthy drug and weapons investigation in the Edmonton region.

The Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team, or ALERT, says three homes in Edmonton and one in nearby St. Albert were searched last Thursday.

Investigators allege that in one residence, officers found a loaded handgun along with police scanners, body armour and a Hells Angels vest containing drugs.

Blake Christie, who is 32, is facing a number of weapons and drugs charges.

Seven other suspect have been arrested on similar counts.

Warrants have been issued for the remaining two.
