The Central Alberta Amazons dropped both ends of a weekend doubleheader in Alberta Junior Female Hockey League play, losing 3-0 to the Thorsby Thunder and 9-5 to the Calgary Warriors.
Kelly Hausauer made 25 saves in goal against the Thunder while her teammates finished with 25 shots. Cassandra Kirkham had two goals and Noelle Gouchie, Kelsey Mastel and Allie Silbernagel one each against the Warriors. Presley Hollman had a pair of assists. Two Central Alberta goaltenders made 33 saves while the Amazons had 36 shots on goal.
