Irish singer Andy White has crossed the pond to perform “an evening of tall tales and troubadour soul” in Red Deer.

White is the Ireland-based half of the duo Fearing & White.

But he will be performing solo at a local house concert on Sunday, July 13.

With songs from his latest album 21st Century Troubadour to draw from, White is on a Canadian tour that includes putting on a songwriting workshop in Edmonton before performing at the Red Deer concert and potluck supper.

Donations of $20 will be collected for the musician at the event that starts with a 5 p.m. potluck supper and continues with music at 7 p.m.

It’s bring your own bottle, lawn chair and umbrella, in case it rains.
