Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform is bringing its anti-abortion message to Red Deer streets today

This week the group is travelling around Central Alberta with an 11-metre long truck covered with billboards of aborted fetuses.

The truck will be driven around Red Deer between 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. and CCBR members will walking around with placards and pamphlets.

CCBR wants to change the public’s acceptance of abortion.

“The pre-born child is a human being from fertilization. Abortion is an act which dismembers, decapitates and disembowels the body of a human being,” said CCBR member Stephanie Gray before a presentation Monday night at Liberty Christian Assembly.

She said the Calgary-based organization developed its campaign based on successful social reform movements such as the civil rights movement.

“They achieved cultural change by exposing the injustice of the day with shocking imagery and confronting the culture,” Gray said.

Last year was the first time the group took its truck outside Calgary and travelled around southern Alberta.
