While most longboard enthusiasts prefer to ride standing up, Kaeden Boyce found this method more to his liking since the board was practically as long as he was tall. The only hinderance was that he tended to brake with his hands, causing the occasional road burn and grimace. He was one of about 15 people who showed up at the first ever longboard demo day at the northeast parking lot of the Parkland Mall on Saturday. The Adrenaline Clothing and Boardsports hosted event invited boarders to show off their existing skills and perhaps learn some new ones.
