Rod Vandaelle of Lacombe and a Parkinson Alberta Society board member plays his trumpet while participating in the Parkinson Superwalk at the Golden Circle Saturday. The annual event raised more than $42,000 for research and treatment of the debilitating disease that leads to tremors and physical coordination problems. The more than 100 people who took part honoured longtime volunteers BJ and Barb Billings for their efforts at the walk’s start.
