A woman shouts slogans holding a cross with Romania’s President name on it in during a protest in Bucharest, Romania, Wednesday. About 40,000 people protested outside the government offices against the planned cut of state sector salaries by 25 percent and pensions by 15 percent threatening to call a general strike if the cuts went ahead. The cuts are meant to enable Romania meet an IMF (International Monetary Fund) set budget deficit target.
