Canmore Artist and children’s book author and illustrator Jocey Asnong uses a globe to show grade one students at Annie L. Gaetz Elementary School where her book “Nuptse and Lhotse in Nepal” takes place during a day-long visit to the school Tuesday. Asnong spent the day presenting to grade 1-3 classes, reading from her book and discussing her style of art as well as engaging students in an activity based on predicting the final events of the book. At the end of each presentation students were also asked to draw what they thought could be the final illustration.
