Avalanche acquires Boedker from Coyotes for Tanguay, Bleackley and Wood.

DENVER -- The Colorado Avalanche acquired forward Mikkel Boedker from the Arizona Coyotes for forwards Alex Tanguay and Conner Bleackley as well as defenceman Kyle Wood on Monday.

Boedker, 26, had 39 points (13 goals, 26 assists) in 62 games with Phoenix. The 2008 first-round pick has 213 points (80 goals, 133 assists) in 445 career NHL games.

Tanguay has 22 points (four goals, 18 assists ) in 52 games with the Avalanche this year.

Bleackley was Colorado's first-round pick (23rd overall) and Wood its third-round selection (84th overall) in the 2014 NHL draft.
