Legendary Canadian rockers Bachman and Turner are heading to Alberta as part of a cross-country tour this fall.

After reuniting for the first time in more than 20 years, Randy Bachman and Fred Turner — musicians at the heart of legendary band Bachman-Turner Overdrive — will perform at the Enmax Centrium in Lethbridge on Sept. 29.

They’ll be joined by longtime friend and iconic singer-songwriter Paul Rodgers for a co-headlining tour.

“Both Fred and I agree that Paul Rodgers is one of our favourite singers,” said Randy Bachman of Bachman & Turner.

“From Free to Bad Company and now his recent work with Queen, Paul is definitely one of the top five rock ’n’ roll voices. We are thrilled to hit the road with him. We’ll probably be out there every night with all our fans watching his show because Paul is such an amazing performer.”

Bachman and Turner have released a self-titled new album stocked with all original tracks.

During their original four-year run, Bachman-Turner Overdrive sold in excess of 30 million records. Popular hits were Takin’ Care of Business and You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet.
