Toronto Argonauts defensive tackle Adriano Belli has been suspended for the team’s CFL season-opener because of incidents that occurred last season. The CFL announced Monday that it was suspending Belli for one game.
Angry with some of the Montreal Alouettes, Belli entered the club’s locker-room at Rogers Centre prior to a game and confronted some members of the team.
Belli was also fined earlier in the season for other transgressions.
