Join the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, N.W.T. and Nunavut on one of their most entertaining fundraisers on Friday.

The foundation’s Big Bike campaign is back in Central Alberta and will be officially launching in Red Deer at noon.

The 30-seat bicycle rolls around the city to raise funds and awareness about heart disease and stroke. Riders can register for free but are asked to raise a minimum of $50 to go towards the foundation.

Red Deerians can watch four local teams (the RCMP, Royal LePage, World Gym and a media team) hop on the bike for a 20-minute ride each on Friday, starting from the ATB parking lot at Bower Place Shopping Centre.

The bike will be available to Central Albertans to use throughout June and July.

To register for a seat on the big bike or to register a team, call the foundation’s Red Deer office at 403-343-7091 or visit www.bigbike.ca.
