Two funny Canadians are coming to Sylvan Lake this weekend as part of their Black Jack Comedy Tour.
Just for Laughs comedian Mike MacDonald is the headliner and Matt Billon is the opening act on Saturday at Chef Francisco Pub and Grill, 4609 Lakeshore Dr.
MacDonald has performed in clubs across North America, as well as on numerous TV programs, including talk shows with David Letterman and Arsenio Hall, CBC’s Just for Laughs, Showtime’s Comedy Club All-Star Show, A&E’s An Evening at the Improv and Comedy Central’s The A List.
MacDonald has also both hosted the Gemini Awards and been nominated for his show My House, My Rules.
Billon has been a winner or finalist on The Great Canadian Laugh Off, Stand up and BITE Me, and the Seattle International Comedy Competition. He has also made feature appearances on CBC’s Madly Off in All Directions and The Debaters.
