BMX club members golden

Four members of the Red Deer BMX Club were double gold medalists in the first two provincial races of the season at the Alberta Indoor Cycling Centre during the weekend.

OLDS — Four members of the Red Deer BMX Club were double gold medalists in the first two provincial races of the season at the Alberta Indoor Cycling Centre during the weekend.

Tanor Milligan won the junior elite 20-inch races both Saturday and Sunday with James Sekora taking the cruiser class titles both days and Christopher Nugent the 20-inch class both days.

Cody Pratt won both the cruiser and 20-inch races Sunday after taking second in the 20-inch class Saturday.

Sekora also competed in the 20-inch class and was third Saturday and second Sunday while Nugent also competed in the cruiser class and was second Sunday after taking third Saturday.

Quinn Sampson-Goodman won a 20-inch title Saturday and was third Sunday.

William Welikoklad and Ty Redbear both won 20-inch races Sunday while both finished second Saturday.

Jr Elite 20-inch: Tyson Best.

20-inch: Jack Snape, Eric Hunter, Popowitch, Tyson White, Justin Mainville.

20-inch: Sarah Stahl, White, Austin Trohan, Nicholas Cymbaluk, Evan Stahl, Cole Malcolm.

Sunday

20-inch: Lindsay Hall, Sarah Stahl, Evan Stahl, Malcolm, Trohan.
