BMX riders roll to gold

Eight members of Red Deer BMX Club were double gold medal winners at the Provincial Race Series races No. 3 and 4 during the weekend.

EDMONTON — Eight members of Red Deer BMX Club were double gold medal winners at the Provincial Race Series races No. 3 and 4 during the weekend.

Royce Redbear, Erin Hunter, Kendell Schultz and Ryder Graham were double winners in the 20-inch class while Cody Pratt, James Sekora and Dean Best won twice in the cruiser class. Tim Pratt won both days in the junior elite cruiser division.

Sarah Stahl, Quinn Sampson-Goodman and Josh Snape took gold Saturday in the 20-inch class while Jack Snape and Justin Mainville were winners in the 20-inch class Sunday.

Daylin Rochon, Evan Stahl and William Welikoklad placed second in the 20-inch class both days while Cody Pratt placed second both days in the cruiser division.

Lindsay Hall was second in the 20-inch division Saturday with Todd Green and Janice Sekora second in the cruiser division and Tyson Best second in the junior elite 20-inch class. Tanika Nugent won silver in the 20-inch class Sunday.

Halle Graham and Noah Boyko were third both days in the 20-inch competition with Nicholas Cymbaluk and Justin Mainville third in the 20-inch class Saturday. Hall, Sarah Stahl and Sampson-Goodman were third Sunday in the 20-inch division with Tim Pratt taking bronze in the junior elite 20-inch race and Todd Green third in the cruiser class.
