Thursday’s paper had a nice photo of a young boy soaring through the air on a skateboard, promoting the Red Deer Skate Park. Looks like he is having a lot of fun.
My question is: Where is his helmet and protective gear? As a hospital worker, I see many injuries that could have been prevented.
Perhaps setting a good example of wearing protective equipment would be useful.
