MEDICINE HAT — An Alberta man who fell out of a boat during a fishing trip on the South Saskatchewan River last fall has been found dead in Saskatchewan.

Mounties say the body of Dougles Bader was found in the river near Leader, Saskatchewan last Friday.

Bader, of Hilda, Alta., fell out of the boat on Nov. 6, 2010 near Sandy Point, about 70 kilometres northeast of Medicine Hat.

An exhaustive search at the time by the authorities and volunteers failed to locate the father of three.

A memorial service was held in late November 2010 and donations in lieu of flowers were distributed to various search and rescue groups.
