The Braves beat the Sherwood Park Gold 9-7 in eight innings and the Calgary Cubs 12-1 at Great Chief Park Saturday before losing 6-4 and 4-3 to the St. Albert Cardinals on the road Sunday.

Nathan Damiani had a triple with three RBIs against the Gold. Reign Letkeman added a pair of doubles and scored three times while Jason Garrett had a pair of singles.

Starter Macinnon Guckert went 5 1/3 innings, allowing four runs on four hits and fanning seven with reliever Mitchell Vanson picking up the win.

Letkeman recorded the win against the Cubs, allowing one run on three hits while striking out seven. He also had a single, double and triple and scored twice.

Levi Moon was two-for-two with two RBIs.

On Sunday Garrett had two singles and two RBIs in the opener in St. Albert while Joel Mazurkewich took the loss.

Mazurkewich had a single and a double in the nightcap while Vanson and Jayden Hutlet shared pitching duties.
