Red Deer biathlete Brad Saunders, a sergeant in the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, earned a bronze and a silver medal in the National Cadet Biathlon Championship, run last week at Canadian Forces Base Valcartier, Que.

Saunders, 15, took silver in the senior male division of the Mass Start and followed that up with a bronze in the Senior Male Pursuit, reaffirming the record he has already established by winning multiple medals in previous competitions.
