CALGARY — An 18-year-old Calgary man faces more than 100 charges stemming from graffiti vandalism that caused $30,000 in damage.

Police say the graffiti occurred mainly in the downtown and on the city’s south side.

The charges were laid after a two-month investigation.

Police say the accused cannot be named because he was underage at the time.

Charges include mischief over and under $5,000, breaking a probation order and breaching recognizance.

Graffiti vandalism can result in fines, a criminal record or jail time.
