Calgary man suffers multiple gunshot wounds

CALGARY — Police believe a man in Calgary who was shot several times in the legs was the victim of a targeted shooting.

Officers got a call Wednesday night from someone who said a neighbour in a southwest apartment complex had been shot.

A man in his 20s was later taken to hospital with four gunshot wounds to his upper right thigh and two more wounds to his upper left thigh.

His injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Charges are pending against two suspects after police tracked down a rented minivan at a car rental office near Calgary International Airport.

Police say the victim has told investigators he knows who did the shooting.
