Calgary police charge men in string of home break-ins

A five-month investigation has led to arrests in a string of break-ins at work trailers and homes under construction in Calgary.Police say two men are accused of break and enter, theft and mischief to property in the Evanston and Redstone neighbourhoods.

CALGARY — A five-month investigation has led to arrests in a string of break-ins at work trailers and homes under construction in Calgary.

Police say two men are accused of break and enter, theft and mischief to property in the Evanston and Redstone neighbourhoods.

Charged are Carlos Alberto Vargas, who is 39, and 47-year-old Marco Antonio Aravena, both of Calgary.

Vargas also faces numerous charges of driving without a licence.
