Police in Calgary have dismantled two marijuana grow operations worth more than $2 million.

CALGARY — Police in Calgary have dismantled two marijuana grow operations worth more than $2 million.

The Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team says more than a thousand plants were found in one city home, and more than 500 in another.

No arrests have been made, and the homes are now deemed unfit to live in. The response team also says illegal water and electrical bypasses were found in the homes. It believes the two operations were not connected.
