The Texan realized early on that Europe was an untapped audience for country music. He went on to tour that continent 33 times, and was voted the No. 2 favourite country artist in Europe, after Johnny Cash.

Overstreet, who has also performed extensively across North America, has been working on a gospel tribute album with Merle Haggard, George Jones, Chet Atkins, Porter Wagoner, Mel Tillis, Crystal Gayle, Glen Campbell and Roy Clark.

Vinson, who was raised near Jasper, has appeared at festivals across the continent, and is known for her radio show Native Voices.

The Juno Award-nominated singer has also performed in Europe and Australia.

Other performers are: Alberta Country Music Hall of Famer Joyce Smith; award-winning country singer/songwriter and former CFCW broadcaster Bev Munro; championship fiddler Alfie Myhre; and another CFCW personality and singer/songwriter, Pete Hicks. The traditional country band Rodeo Wind will also play.

Tickets to the concert are $30 from Ticket Central.
