BOSTON — Canadians have been caught up in the aftermath of two explosions that hit the finish line of the Boston Marathon.
Laura McLean, a runner from Toronto, was in the medical tent being treated for dehydration when she was pulled out to make room for victims of the explosions.
McLean says she saw people who were “really, really bloody.”
Boston authorities could not immediately estimate the number or degree of injuries.
The blasts went off about three hours after the winners crossed the finish line.
More than 2,000 Canadians were taking part in the marathon.
