The Canadian Cancer Society’s Jail-N-Bail fundraiser brought in $61,000 this year.

More than 25 people suffered mock arrests last week before being sentenced by a celebrity judge to raising bail through financial pledges from family, friends and co-workers.

Proceeds from the 25th annual event at Parkland Mall will be used to support programs for those living with cancer and for research.
