Calgary Canucks netminder Devon Dell made 47 saves to frustrate the Olds Grizzlys in an Alberta Junior Hockey League contest Saturday.

OLDS — Calgary Canucks netminder Devon Dell made 47 saves to frustrate the Olds Grizzlys in an Alberta Junior Hockey League contest Saturday.

The Canucks also got a two-goal performance from Matt Heseltine and a single from Matt Chomyc, then scored the lone goal of the shootout and recorded a 4-3 win before 562 fans at the Sports Complex.

Evan Thompson, Craig Gans and Taylor Bourne scored for the Grizzlys. Olds netminder Brandon Thiessen made 27 saves in regulation time.

The Grizzlys and Canucks will tangle for a second and third time in succession tonight in Calgary and Thursday at Olds. The Grizzlys will then host the Calgary Mustangs Saturday at 8 p.m.
