CAT play was excellent

My wife and I recently bought tickets to see the Central Alberta Theatre production of Culture Shock for Saturday.

My wife and I recently bought tickets to see the Central Alberta Theatre production of Culture Shock for Saturday.

After reading the review from Lana Michelin in Saturday’s Advocate, I was a little apprehensive, and wondered if we were wasting our money.

Indeed, what a shock we had. It was absolutely hilarious, and in contrast to what Lana said, it brought many “belly laughs” from the capacity crowd.

The acting from all five actors was excellent, especially Paul Sutherland (Hillyard Philpott), who I’m sure could pursue a professional career in acting, he was so good.

Thank you CAT for putting on such an entertaining show, and I’ve one question for Lana: “Were you really there?”

*Editor’s note: Lana Michelin attended opening night, a performance that drew a small crowd. Every performance is different and productions certainly mature and change, night to night. The review suggested this production had the potential to do that.
