On June 4 around 10 p.m., a lacrosse team was playing at the Kinex Arena in Red Deer at 4309 48th Ave. They discovered that keys and wallets were missing from their lockers.

Team members immediately went into the parking lot and found the woman, catching the 22-year-old going through one of the lacrosse player’s vehicles.

The players cornered the woman until Red Deer RCMP arrived on scene and placed her under arrest.

She has been charged with two counts of possession of property obtained by crime, valued at less than $5,000, and two counts of theft under $5,000.

She will appear in Red Deer provincial court today.
