Central Alberta Cricket Association team member Abdul Majid yells for his fellow batsman to make a run during a recent practice on the Collicutt Centre Cricket pitch. Construction of the cricket pitch was completed earlier last week with Friday being the first time the team took to the field. The Central Alberta Cricket Association has more than 40 members so far and is hoping to recruit more adult and younger players. The club plays games in Edmonton and Calgary.
