Careers: The Next Generation honoured 10 student interns, mentors and teachers from across Alberta in a ceremony in Edmonton at Grant MacEwan University’s Robbins Health Learning Centre at a ceremony in Edmonton on May 3.

Angela Sandberg, a mentor at Alberta Health Services in Olds, was awarded the Lorraine Anderton Award of Excellence in Health Services.

Student apprentice welder Mitchell McArady and mentor Rick Bennett, both of Red Deer, were awarded the Next Generation Award of Excellence in the Skilled Trades.
