The Red Deer Pro-Stitch Chiefs dropped a 3-2 decision to Sylvan Lake in midget AA league play Thursday.
Jaye Sutherland and Chris Rauckman scored for the Chiefs while Brady Nydokus made 25 saves in goal.
Travis Mayan had two goals and Ryker Leer one for the Lakers. Brett Frisneth made 22 saves.
