Children’s Day planned for Wednesday

Children can take part in some international fun during a special celebration that runs today from 4 to 5 p.m.

Children can take part in some international fun during a special celebration that runs today from 4 to 5 p.m.

Universal Children’s Day Celebration take place at the downtown Red Deer Public Library’s children’s department.

Special ethnic treats will be given out, plus multicultural stories and crafts will make the hour pass away quickly. Families of all nationalities are encouraged to attend.

Grandparents and friends are urged to come out, too. Jan Underwood from Central Alberta Refugee Effort will host the special event.

Registration isn’t required since this is a free co-sponsored program.
