Chili for a cause

Diane Assinger, left, and Charlene Peel of GrammaLink-Africa prepare more chili for the group’s Chili with a Cause at The Hub on Wednesday. Hundreds of people came for the meal as well as the bowls to keep, which were made and donated by Red Deer Pottery Club. The $2,900 GrammaLink raised will be used to help African grandmothers raise orphans through the Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign, a project of the Stephen Lewis Foundation.
