Laura Lee Henderson spins some mohair yarn from some of the angora goats she raises on her White Treasure Farm at Markerville. Henderson was at the Red Deer County building this week, along with about 15 other artisans and vendors, for the launch of the Christmas Country Drive Tour. The tour is an extension of Central Alberta’s annual Country Drive marketing initiative, which encourages people to visit rural businesses and attractions. This year, a Christmas event has been launched and takes place today and Sunday.
