A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a suspect who missed court in Red Deer on Monday.
Richard Bradley Krepps, 29, was scheduled for arraignment on drug and weapons charges arising from an incident in Red Deer on Oct. 17, 2013.
Red Deer City RCMP allege that members patrolling in Johnstone Park noticed what they believed to be a stolen car bearing a stolen licence plate. A search of the car produced evidence leading police to a nearby residence.
Police say they seized drugs and a stolen firearm from the car, as well as several more firearms and a small amount of methamphetamine from the house.
Krepps was charged with numerous offences, including having firearms contrary to a court order, knowingly possessing prohibited firearms, possessing weapons obtained by crime, possession of property obtained by crime and possessing drugs for trafficking.
