Lacombe Composite High School students Kelly Campbell and Jack Dorceus have their hands full as they handle some of the organic waste generated by classmates during the lunch hour at the school on Wednesday. The Eco Vision Club at the school hosted the event to generate interest in the school’s new worm composting program. Two worm composting kits containing hundreds of worms were delivered to the school by Worms At Work and were put to work immediately with organic matter from the students’ lunches. The two worm composting units will reside inside the school. Three thermo-composters are already at work outside the school.
