Sylvan Lake fire fighters will be training at a house fire and would like residents to know that it will not be an emergency situation.
The controlled house burn scheduled for Saturday is for training purposes to ready the members of the fire department. The house, located at 38475 Hwy 20 in Red Deer County, is at the southeast corner of Hwy 20 and 47th Ave.
Firefighters and fire apparatus will be on scene for the duration of the burn. Motorists and residents are advised not to contact emergency services as this is a training exercise.
