Rodney Cardinal, 18, was charged with robbery and aggravated assault. He was not in court on Wednesday but his lawyer Lorne Goddard told the court that he expected a speedy resolution on Nov. 9.

Red Deer RCMP charged three men after an individual was attacked in the 5500 block of 60th Street at about 12:30 p.m. on June 4. The victim was left with a permanent brain injury.

Two other men pleaded guilty earlier.

Logan Sweezey was sentenced to three-and-a-half years in jail on Friday when he pleaded guilty to robbery while Tikkanen Wayne Lee, 18, was sentenced to two-and-a-half years for robbery.
