Cruickshank named interim Parkaland CFO

Andrew Cruickshank, who has been with the Red Deer-based company since June 2010, takes over from Ken Grondin, who resigned effective July 1 after two years in the job.

“With 17 years of experience in senior finance roles, Andrew is well qualified to lead our finance team through this transition period,” says Bob Espey, Parkland president and CEO in a statement announcing the appointment. “Andrew has played a key role in implementing international financial reporting standards at Parkland, has a solid understanding of the fuel marketing industry, and has past experience as a CFO for a public company.”

Cruickshank was previously vice-president of finance at UFA Co-operative Ltd., CFO of Collicutt Energy Services Ltd. and CFO of Enwin Utilities Group.

Parkland is continuing to search for a permanent CFO.
